Mayerthu took her time following the river as she had done her whole life, her sharp eyes surveying the landscape for predators and wolves alike. Her paws carried her over the lush grass growing close to the river when a sharp acrid smell brushed her nose. She snorted for a moment then sniffed the ground to investigate further.
"Wolves." She said plaintively. Looking around she saw none in her immediate vicinity. Deciding she should wait before crossing into territory that was not hers, she sat by the river side and watched the fish calmly swimming in its waters. Her demeanor seemed careless, but she was intently focused on her surroundings as she had learned to do from a young age. Mayerthu traced her tongue over her dark lips and cleaned any debris that might have been present so as to make herself more comfortable and presentable for the folks she hoped to soon meet.
"Maybe they'll be willing to teach me a few things..."

The sun was collapsing into the sinuous backdrop of purple ridges, their peaks more visible here than from anywhere else in the territory. Ebony didn't like the memories that... flooded him when he had to patrol this side of the borders. He had always imagined himself incapable of hatred, among the myriad of other emotions related to passion––he supposed devout servitude was the closest thing he could feel to love––but the sensation that wanted to overcome him when he stared into that river was undeniably shameful. He could say Cecelia was his only true remedy for that feeling, if only because of what she replaced it using her tenacity to keep Lubrusca's home alive. The lupine he found sitting by the river held a unique stature, neither lax nor threatening. And she was rather clean. She was expecting Ebony to meet her here. Obliged, he approached her with a saunter one could describe as hopeful if he wasn't so intent on defending his home. Neither here nor there, big nor small, much like this rogue, Ebony was a clean-looking canvas. Never quite refined into a work of art, though. "Welcome to Lubrusca. I'm her protector, Ebony, although, I don't suppose you've been waiting for me," he began, meeting her at the river and matching her disposition, though he chose to remain standing. He liked how the wet earth felt with four feet on the ground. "Tell me, what is it you're looking for?"

Her honey brown eyes flicked over to the approaching male assessing if he was a threat to her or if he was of a calmer nature. Mayerthu scented the air, her lopsided ear twitching slightly. She paused for a few moments as he sauntered closer, and she gathered her curious thoughts and questions and balled them up shoving them deep down for now. Surely nobody wants a hundred questions hurled at them upon the first few seconds of meeting after all. She glanced over at the male noting his size in comparison to her own and decided to keep herself at a lower posture than he possessed. She didn't know much of other wolves, but she knew enough not to incidentally disrespect a male who could easily overpower and possibly kill her. "Welcome to Lubrusca..." She heard him start. "Lubrusca, sounds... correct." She thought to herself. The name seemed to ring in her ears as he introduced himself as Ebony and asked what she's looking for. She turned the question over in her head "What am I looking for..." Love? No, for Mayerthu that wasn't exactly on her list of things to do in life. A family? Maybe, but that is a time-consuming endeavor that she would need comfort and a... home... for. Home. That's what Mayerthu decided she was looking for. Years of searching, begging, pleading, and in all eventuality, moving on, has led her here and quite frankly she was tired of running. Her mind made up she dipped her head and spoke coolly. "My name is Mayerthu" She drawled slightly "It is nice to meet you, Ebony the protector of Lubrusca, and to answer your question. I originally planned to seek permission to pass through the territory of Lubrusca without causing offense, but, if I may be so bold to ask. Would it be possible for me to provide assistance to the lives of those who serve this place? I haven't had a home truly for a very long time and this seems like a mighty fine one worth protecting." She finished with another dip of her head. Her logical parts screaming at her for being insolent and the hopeful parts cheering her on internally. She wanted to truly hope, to provide her knowledge to a family, a pack, in a place she could call home. Mayerthu wanted to say more but her tongue held stiff, she had said enough. Talking without thinking is a sin, self control is a must with any situation. She'd do best to remember that. Ebony -Exit Following Cecilia-

Quill sauntered ahead of his two sisters, pale gray eyes half-lidded as he glanced about the territory. It was rare for him to be in the lead; he usually left that dubious honor to Clover, the most outspoken of the three. Though his sisters had enough snap to defend themselves and then some, the simple fact remained that he was the largest of the siblings– and so, venturing towards land undoubtedly occupied by wolves unknown, Quill would take the front. No matter his parent’s once-connections to this pack. ”It’s definitely much better than home is– was.” He drawled to his siblings, eyeing the lush plains and burbling river. ”I can see why mom and dad settled down here, even if they were burnt out of it later. I bet the prey just leaps right into your paws.” The idea was a wonderful one; one less reason for Quill to have to get up in the morning. Alas, game still insisted on putting up a fight when he tried to kill and eat it. Bastards. It would seem their approach would not be a solitary one. Already two wolves lingered at the border: a female around his age, and a male at least a year older. Quill wanted to groan; on one hand, this saved them the trouble of waiting for someone to approach. But on the other hand, what if Lubrusca was thriving, or something, and wanted them to compete against that lone lady for entry? He knew that they had roots in this territory, knew how important it was to their parents that they make a home here– but he wasn’t entirely sure he was down for something as dramatic as a competition. ”Hope we didn’t miss the party.” Quill said as he approached, tail wagging easily behind him. Thankfully, he’d arrived in time to hear their introductions; there was no need for a repeat of names. Ebony the protector and Mayerthu… the articulate, he decided. ”I’m Quill. These are my sisters, Clover and Iris.” Though he was the first to speak, it was clear in the tilt of his head and his automatic, questioning gaze in Clover’s direction that he was not the usual leader of their little group. ”Our parents– they lived here, once, but had to flee due to a fire. Now, our new land is in a bad way, so our folks sent us here. Told us that Lubrusca would be welcoming, if we could prove ourselves useful.” He grinned, easy as can be, natural charm lending warmth to his expression and words. Ebony Mayerthu Clover Iris

Where Quill made his way ahead of the group, Iris chose to lag behind. After all, it wasn't like she was in much of a rush. And someone had to watch their backs. That was the same reason Quill took to the front after all. They all wanted to make sure everyone was safe. They were all they had, now. All that they could rely on. Because in truth, they knew nothing of this land. Not as it was now. Time changes things. Just as sure as the pups had grown up, the Pack was unlikely to be as it was in their parents' stories. "Don't fall too much in love, Quill. We still don't know what we will find when we get there."It was comical, seeing Quill dream of prey leaping into his paws. As if that would happen everywhere. It was the only thing a wolf had in common with prey, with all living things. They all wanted to survive. She highly doubted a deer would come rushing forward, begging her brother to eat it. A small chuckle escaped her at the thought, though. Oh how Quill would love that. Eventually, they had found the territory, or it could be assumed so as they found two wolves in a conversation. Ebony of the Lubrusca Pack, confirming they were in the right place, and Mayerthu, who seemed to be seeking a place in the pack as they were. And of course, Quill gave them a full life story. Iris didn't exactly agree with the amount of oversharing, the other female had not given so much away, but the words could not be taken back. So she merely gave a nod of greeting when she was introduced. Besides, if all went well, perhaps her brother's honesty would be appreciated. Ebony Mayerthu Clover Quill

Cecilia had woken later than Ebony, as per usual. She felt no rush in the morning and took the time to relax before starting her duties. Still, she would eventually wonder out of her warm den in search of the male. There were days she would stalk him from a distance, observing him. There were many days Cecilia didn't have the courage to approach him. His expression when he gazed at certain areas made her feel small and unsure. She was afraid of what their conversation would be if she approached. She was unsure of what she could do for him, when her own memory was buried. How could she relate to the past that she wiped away. The weight of that shame hung on her, and she casted blame that she was able to live in these lands without the trauma of what all ocurred here. However, some days when she looks at specific areas, or there is a certain chill in the air, an overwhelming feeling starts to over take her. So she learned what places not to look and decided to do so. She had to. Cecilia was afraid of those memories and all that pain that's trapped away with them. Today was a day she was choosing to keep a distance between them. Not because of his expression but because of where he was choosing to patrol. The river was one of those places she chose not to look at. The place itself wasn't the problem, it was the water. The hairs on her back tingled at the thought. But she didn't like being alone in other parts of the territory, so she insistently stalked her friend. However, today was also the day the earth decided to challenge that fear. Sitting before Ebony was another wolf, Immediately, Cecilia's ears perked and eyes intent with interest. Without a second thought she moved in that direction and eventually stepped out of the tree-line. As soon as she did thought, she realized she made a mistake. The sound of the river was louder hear than it was in the forest. But, she was already here and she couldn't just turn tail and run. She looked towards Ebony to help gather confidence before speaking to a stranger, unsure of what her first words would be. She opened her maw to say something when the sound of paw steps were heard and a strangers voice. Her eyes snapped to the male who spoke, and two others behind him. One I could maybe speak with, but four?! She looked back and forth between Ebony and the strangers before giving him a look and declaring loudly, " Let's give them a tour?" Cecilia tried her best not to make it sound like a question, but still, the unsureness of her statement hung in the air. Feeling like the only way to remedy this was to take charge and lead them deeper into the territory. " THIS WAY!" this time, to compensate for the earlier awkwardness, she attempted to make her statement sound resolute, but instead she just ended up yelling. Mortified beyond belief, Cecilia turned quickly and began marching away. Ebony Mayerthu Quill Clover Iris

Clover was still grumpy that she didn't get her much-needed sleep today. Her siblings decided to drag her out of her dreams because they just couldn't wait to get to Lubrusca... As if the Pack would just get up and leave if she got a few more hours of sleep. She was still tried, so she didn't bat an eye when Quill decided to overtake her and lead their way, at least she had Iris behind her, so if she did spontaneously decide to sleep on the floor mid-walk, her sister would gracefully nudge her awake. As the trio made their way closer to Lubrusca, Clover felt more awake, since the scent of new wolves was starting to fill her nose. She heard Quill and Iris say something but didn't have the energy to care. If it wasn't for Quill's large frame she would've definitely bumped into him as she was looking at the floor with her eyes almost closed. Her olive eyes spotted the wolves at the border quickly. Before the taller black male, presumably the wolf her parents mentioned, was a female wolf, slightly younger than the trio. Apparently, they made it just in time to hear her introduce herself as Mayerthu and give a whole wordy lecture a bout how honoured she would be to serve the pack blah blah blah. As Clover was waiting for her to finish, she noticed a younger lighter-coloured female approach from behind the black male. She looked very nervous, for whatever reason. Clover rolled her eyes. After Mayerthu finished, Clover was about to step forward and introduce herself and her siblings when Quill cut her off. Clover side-eyed him slightly but softened her gaze when she saw him look at her with slight guilt that he spoke first. She shrugged it off, not caring too much, as she was still too tired to care. However, she tensed up slightly when Quill was starting to overshare information. She noticed Iris give a nod as a form of greeting, but could tell that she too was unhappy about Quill's storytelling. Clover didn't want to be spoken for, so just as she was about to step forward and properly introduce herself yet again, the white-coloured female that was hiding earlier loudly exclaimed about wanting to show them around. Clover glared at the floor with frustration, but shook it off and with a smile tried again. Only to be cut off... Again... By the same female yelling out "This way!" Clover internally groaned and leaned onto Quill with frustration. "Seriously..?" she muttered to herself. Clearly, her introduction would have to wait until they were accepted into the pack.

Hushed tones crept into her hearing as she toddled along the river bank, enjoying as the soft mud squished between her toes. Her mothers eloquent voice rang in her head. "I pray that you swallow your pride and direct yourself to the nearest accepting pack. Life is hard, ruthless, and it will not be easy to preserver, my love. There is no shame in looking for guidance." she recalled, one of the last tips of advice her mother could provide before an ugly infection stole her spirit. Euphoria swallowed uneasily as the silhouette of wolves came apparent in her view. There were six to be exact. Her tail fell between her legs in shame, the urge to flee and hide swarming her thoughts. The lupine stopped for a moment, taking a long breath and shaking the stress from her pelt before marching onward. She needed this so badly.
Only 3 days ago, she found herself ambushed by a pack of coyotes in the depth of her sleep. The experience had shaken her up quite badly, but somehow she managed to narrowly escape with her life, barely. Their shill cries of defiance still echoed in her ears, and had haunted her dreams the following two nights. It was this that brought her to the decision to seek refuge in the pack lands, and with a little help from a kind rogue to point her in the right direction, she found her tiny self facing the wolves of Lubrusca, as they called it. Euphoria was hesitant, but she knew she was still too young and inexperienced to survive much longer on her own, and she just had to prove to her moms spirit that her efforts were not in vain.
Euphoria lowered her head submissively as she drew closer to the group; there were two mottled black wolves, three ombre-brown wolves, and one more wintery colored she-wolf. One of the charcoal males held himself particularly high, in a dominant but approachable stance. He looked older, and perhaps a bit tired and defeated in her opinion. The white lupine held a less than similar stance, almost appearing as uncomfortable as she was to be there. Nonetheless, her scent that carried in the air smelled the same as the males, so she had to be a pack member of some sort. The others, however, were definitely rogues, and as she started to catch onto the conversation she heard the names Quill, Clover, and Iris, whom were siblings. Euphoria hesitated for a moment, her outstretched paw quivering in the air momentarily before she pushed through the tall grass and made her appearance. You got this. As the lupine strolled uneasily up to the group, cranium still low, the female Lubrusca wolf declared loudly that perhaps a territory tour was in question. Her eyes darted to the pretty she-wolf, savoring her soft colors and well-kept coat. She must have just missed the introductions. Euphoria sighed quietly in disappointment. "THIS WAY!" proclaimed the she-wolf, who quickly turned and stomped off into the forest.
She was unable to properly read this females body language, but from what she had gathered she did not seem to know how to address this situation. Was she troubled by the many rogues here, or was there something more that Euphoria couldn't understand? Her hazel orbs darted to each of the wolves, almost searching for permission to follow along. With another uncertain sigh, she directly approached the black tall black male whom she assumed to be the alpha, or something of the sort. As she stood infront of him, she fought not to quiver and drop to the floor in complete submission. With her head still low, she quietly peered into his orange eyes as she thought of the words to say. "H-hello, my name is Euphoria, but I also respond to many nicknames.." she rambled, eyes straying off into the forest before popping back to the male. "Um, if it's not too much trouble, I would like to embark on this... tour?" she felt so stupid, sounding no less than a pup that lacked all confidence. She dared not peer towards the other rogues, who were likely judging the yearling intensely as she barged into their conversation. Euphoria lightly dipped her head towards the ebony male in respect, taking a step back as she watched for some sort of a response.

Ebony had spent a lot of time thinking about his birth pack since everyone in Lubrusca fled, and why he chose to stay. He was young when he was abandoned––not forgotten, but removed––after years of uncredited labor yielded nothing beyond stoic vigilance to his family. What they were never able to find in their constant efforts to save themselves from invisible threats was in fact the greatest them to them of all. Lubrusca had truly suffered, more than he'd ever seen. It took two nearly unreclaimable disasters for them to finally leave what they had shaped into a sanctuary. Onward to new challenges. Upon their leave they imparted to him a steady determination he had failed to understand until just then, as his heart came close to following in line. He had never been able to fully feel the emotions that they inspired in him because he had always been in complete service to them. He made a decision for himself, for the first time, that he would no longer dedicate his life to serving others, but to protecting them. Never in fear should a Lubruscan wolf run again, because Ebony would keep his home safe. The expressions the wolves took on themselves when facing Ebony were unnecessary. Once, title was everything to him. It was his way of organizing relationships in his head. Then he met Blue Rose and Cecilia, who taught him that worth didn't have anything to do with ranking at all. The whole thing was just a small-minded scheme made to compartmentalize living creatures into useful mindsets. Wolves should choose titles that best represent themselves, so they don't make the mistake of squeezing themselves into a role that denies their own respect. Ebony was certain of this, and so he lowered his neck to the ground when the rogues chose submissive attitudes. It wasn't necessary here. He had listened intently to everybody's response. Three siblings came from Lubruscan parents, and based on their age, it would have been during the fire about four years ago when two lovers fled. It was entirely possible that they were lying, which was an unnecessary tactic for gaining Ebony's approval. They didn't have themselves in order much at all, and Ebony could sense some tension in them, especially from Clover. It was understandable given Ebony's knowledge of rogue families, always on edge at the face of constant danger, causing relationships to become strong but rocky. Mayerthu was of particular interest to Ebony. Her story resonated with his, and so he found himself glancing at her occasionally to gather more from her composure. Lubrusca is a beautiful home; one quick glance is enough to make a wolf want to stay forever. But her choice of words was... eerily relatable. Ebony recalls making nearly the same statement, verbatim, when he first came upon this place. Cecilia spoke rather unexpectedly, and for Ebony, surprises were dreadful. He had seen her climb mountains in her growth into adulthood but public speaking was a hill she never truly overcame. Ebony waved his tail at the rogues, noting the additional newcomer approaching the group. Cecilia had taken charge and Ebony was not going to fight that battle, and he especially wouldn't get in the way of an opportunity for her to learn something. He let Mayerthu follow after first, then the siblings for a brief time while he addressed Euphoria. She was young, and had a demeanor much like Cecilia's when she was that age. She wasn't too confident in her approach. She may have been used to taking on judgements considering her uncommon appearance. She looked rather... coyish. "Come along then," he said blandly, realizing he hadn't said anything since his initial introduction. Quickly, he trotted back to Mayerthu and took a place between her and the trio of siblings. He wouldn't let them create distance between him and Cecilia, as he still wasn't entirely sure of their intentions. Why did it take them four years to come find Lubrusca? What happened to their parents? Questions that came with Quill's detailed response he would most certainly address later. -Exit- Your lead, Cecilia lol! Ebony didn't stop her. That was all that Cecilia needed to gain the wind underneath her sails again. She wouldn't disappoint him! Besides, with her back to the wolves, so long as she didn't yell again, would be an easier time talking than facing them all head on. Although, if Ebony was by her side, she would have more courage but she couldn't rely on him like that, she needed to be able to do this on her own. She started making her way south east; away from the northern border and moving into their lands, angling herself towards the Forest River. " This is our northern border," she spoke, loud enough to make sure all those hear could hear her. This time there was more confidence in her tone with a steady volume. No longer did Cecilia hear the river flowing, which rocked her nerves previously. " If you're chosen to join our home by the end of this journey, this could be one of your future assignments; to patrol and mark our border as we can expect to see more rogues coming this way." " The river we just left flows south to another pack territory, Noctis," her goal to educate them in the layout of the lands around them. " We haven't had contact with them in years, but no news is good news... at least that's what they say." " To the north is Ferus, and we hope we don't hear from them." Cecilia didn't go into details, and she didn't want to. If anyone asked questions, she hoped Ebony would step in and answer as needed. Moving farther away from their border they were finally entering into the lands that she called home. Self-confidence rising as she moved through familiar thickets. " Our first destination is our Forest River, that splits our territory down the center." Exit Forest River Mayerthu , Ebony , Quill , Iris , Clover , Euphoria ,

Their crowd grew larger by the moment. Two more wolves, one seemingly from the pack, one a rogue just like her, but both just as skittish, had joined them. The smaller pack wolf rather hastily offered a tour of the territory, and Iris found herself surprised. Did this mean they were accepted? Just like that? That was hardly a trial. She hoped, for Ebony's sake, that these other wolves were as well intentioned as they appeared, if the pack so readily accepted anyone who came across their borders. And so Iris followed, taking note of the territory. It truly was quite lovely. Seeming so full of life. So the place they had come from was their northern border. Thankfully they had not crossed those scent lines, then. How lucky they were to find the pack right by the border, the siblings must have caught them during one of the patrols the pack wolf mentioned. Or rather, the other rogue caught them during the patrol. And it also seemed as though this was not the only pack t be found here. The pack wolf spoke of Noctis and Ferus, although it seemed one was to be worried about more than the other. What was so frightening about the Ferus Pack? As the pack wolf moved further into the territory, so two did Iris. She knew not of what awaited her, but she hoped for good things. -Exit- Mayerthu Ebony Quill Cecilia Clover Euphoria

Quill could tell by the side eye that Clover gave him that she wasn’t too pleased by his chatter. Luckily, her glare lacked the heat that it would have if she were truly pissed. He offered her a sheepish smile, a soft exhale through his nose communicating his apology easily enough. A pale she-wolf approached from behind Ebony. She was a hair taller than he was, but far more slender; but he supposed that was to be expected. They probably hadn’t been taking down any fatty game, what with it being just the two of them. The new arrival seemed… uneasy, or maybe unsure would be a better word. He could see the merit in a tour, but the prospect still had him puffing out a deep, quiet sigh. They’d already walked so much to get here, and packlands could be miles wide. His aching paw pads wouldn’t get any rest any time soon. The handsome male winced at the sudden volume, ears flicking rapidly as if to dispel the sudden ringing as he started ambling behind both Ebony and Cecilia. ”Don’t sweat it too much, Clove.” He murmured to her, easily bearing her weight– and her displeasure. ”She just seems a little nervous, yeah? Try not to hold it against her.” He planted a brief, fond lick against her shoulder before turning his head to seek out Iris. His quieter sibling had always been stoic, and he often found himself reflexively checking her face for the minute details that gave away her mood to the two that knew her best. Thankfully, it seemed that she was content, maybe a bit hopeful. He shot her a goofy grin. A timid she-wolf joined them at the last moment, identifying herself as Euphoria of the many nicknames. Somewhat pitying her for the lost opportunity to integrate herself with the group before they all moved along, he said, ”Right then, I’ll save myself the mouthful if you don’t mind. I’ll call you… Ria. Hmm, or maybe Phori. No, no, better make it Ria, sounds much nicer on the tongue, doesn’t it?” His tone was airy, his aim to ease the wolf’s nerves with his lighthearted chatter. When Cecilia began speaking, he shut his trap, humming in acknowledgement as she identified the river, as well as the general direction of two other packs. She identified Ferus as someone they didn’t want to hear from, which sounded… troublesome. Best not to poke that particular bear. || Exit to Forest River || Iris Clover Euphoria Cecilia Ebony Mayerthu

The slightly frustrating expression on Clover's face disappeared as quickly as it appeared, thanks to the words of her younger brother. She responded to him by nudging him in the side in a loving manner, before continuing to follow her spontaneous tour guide. Just as they started, Clover's nose smelt a new scent approaching the group at the borders. This red-ish brown female introduced herself as Euphoria and asked to join the group on their tour. Clover side-glanced this wolf with raised brows, giving her a quick smile, or rather something that was supposed to be a smile. "Nice name." She muttered as she walked into the territory of Lubrusca. She slightly chuckled and snorted when Quill decided to start a conversation with this Euphoria. Cupid. She thought, grinning at her brother, giving him a playful wink of encouragement. Cecilia, their alabaster tour guide started mentioning a few details about the pack's borders, and what their tasks may consist of if accepted into this pack. She went on describing the rivers that divide the three packs, but what really caught Clover's attention, was the mention of this northern pack Ferus. Why did they not want to hear from them? Where are they dangerous? Was there a past conflict between these packs? All these questions filled Clover's mind and she did not even notice that they started moving away from the borders to a new part of the pack. The Forest River sounded like a nice place, she started to understand why her parents felt bad about leaving this pack. It looked gorgeous. The nature here was simply beautiful, the singing of the birds, the hum of the flowing river, the smell of wildlife... She loved it here. Hopefully, if all went well, she could call this place her home. Hopefully, her brother and sister would be safe here. :Exit to Forest River: Mayerthu Ebony Quill Iris Cecilia Euphoria ,

As Euphoria listened quietly, it seemed like a world of silence engulfed her before Ebony, the tall black male spoke in response. In a rather unremarkable response, the Lubrusca male simply replied with, " Come along then," before hurrying towards his friend who lead this tour into the territory. Euri's ears pinned against her head in disbelief for a moment. Was she intruding on this new travel, or did the brute genuinely mean that he intended for her to follow? The lupines cranium snapped as one, two, three, and soon enough all of these rogue wolves were following in pursuit after the two pack wolves. Without any further hesitation, Euphoria followed their trail, finding herself behind the rogue who had introduced himself as Quill, along with his two sisters, one by the name of Clover. " Nice name" came the subtle comment from the rogues sister, Clover, as the group embarked their trail deeper into the Lubrusca territory. Euphoria looked to her for a moment, offering the she-wolf a shy smile in approval before continuing forward, her pupils pinned on the female pack wolf that lead this adventure. Above anything else, she was focused on learning all that she could while she occupied the territory, and hopefully finding some hidden information in her favor when it came time for these wolves to judge who was fit to join them. As her mind raced in preparation for whatever she was to face, another familiar baritone voice chimed towards her. ” Right then, I’ll save myself the mouthful if you don’t mind. I’ll call you… Ria. Hmm, or maybe Phori. No, no, better make it Ria, sounds much nicer on the tongue, doesn’t it?” he spewed, voice and posture gentle and inviting. Was he trying to comfort her in her previous failed attempt of introduction? Euphoria trotted on, making sure to keep pace with group, but she glanced towards the handsome male with a cocked brow in curiously as she went. Was it worth trying to become acquaintances with these rogues, whom she may never see again if she, or them, were denied further entry into Lubrusca? With a sassy but quite click of her tongue, the young she-wolf decided not to deny this opportunity of alliance between her and the other rogue. " My parents called me Euri," she stated simply, a brief smile gracing her lips before fading back into her serious and focused posture. Quiet once again settled into the chilly air, leaving the mere paw steps of their large group crunching in the leaves, one after another. The lupines ears shot forward at the first inclination of sound. The female pack wolf, whom she had still not gotten a name from, began to survey the territory and recite from her memory what she knew. The group was traveling away from the Lubrusca borders now, where many of them would be assigned to patrol as new, or old recruits. " The river we just left flows south to another pack territory, Noctis. We haven't had contact with them in years, but no news is good news... at least that's what they say." she continued, leaving an eerie tone in the air as they continued onward. Euphoria was unfamiliar with the history of these four packs that occupied much of the terrain, but from what she could gather there was a rather unsettling history between them all, perhaps creating tension. " To the north is Ferus, and we hope we don't hear from them." again, her voice rang in the air, stinging with the uncomfortable idea that something had gone terribly wrong. Euri again raised an eyebrow inquisitively as the she-wolf gestured to the north, but she said nothing and simply pondered over the reply. The further they traveled, it seemed the deeper the terrain was, and the foliage grew heavier as they neared their next destination. The familiar roaring of a large river settled quietly in the background, reaching her ears just as the white lupine began reciting what was soon to unfold before their eyes. Euphoria kept her composure, but anyone could detect in her face that she was more than interested, and searched for more answers, which propelled her legs forward confidently. || Exit || Ebony , Cecilia , Clover , Quill , Iris , Mayerthu

White paws thudding against the grass as she trotted, Akari looked around for the source of the howl she had heard. Her plans weren't exactly to join a pack too soon, but it had been a few years, so her options were certainly getting limited. Her physical health was still in good enough condition, but she really had spent half of her life alone, so she really needed some company right about now. Black tipped ears flicked upwards are she listened to some rather loud yips, she headed that way, following a river. The sounds of the light trickle of flowing water made Akari's mind very at ease as she tread through the land, it wouldn't be too long before either she reached the wolf that had howled, or one reached her. Not wanting to overstep the boundaries that the pack wolves had established, she sat on the lightly rocky terrain that surrounded the river on both sides. Taking a moment to breathe, she inhaled the scent of the fresh water. Letting out a long howl, she hoped to alert the pack wolves of her presence. Mayerthu Ebony Quill Iris Cecilia Clover Euphoria
