Katsu scanned the terrain carefully, stalking the rivers edge as he observed for any danger. Never could he have thought, years ago, that he may be bold enough to show up at another packs borders and plead acceptance. It was unbecoming to him, and seemed almost selfless as he thought about it. In all honesty, he didn't need to join a pack. The brute has thrived well for years now, as his knowledge for herbs and amble hunting skills kept him alive. He wasn't big about battling and dominance, but the fact that his strange smell warded off strangers strongly helped him, that or it provoked rogues to target him. Would this pack target him, leaving him bolting for the hills with his tail tucked between his legs? He supposed this was a risk he would have to take today, but he did have other reasons for coming here in the first place. Of all other things, Katsumi knew herbs like the back of his paw now, and a few years back he had often used that skill that many other rogues lacked to make friends and help out. He had come across few rogues in the past three years, few and far between, and more than unwilling to accept his dog-like presence around them. He seeked a better purpose in life rather than bustling about as a rogue, trying to find an opportunity to be accepted somewhere. The wolf proceeded onward, a small sack of herbs bouncing in his mouth as he went. It was carefully woven with large green leaves and an abundance of cobwebs to hold the bundle together securely. Inside, it contained simple herbs that were easily found, as well as some rare plants that he had come across in his travels. Katsumi figured that if nothing else, offering his services and a bundle of healing supplies would secure a spot with this pack. Suddenly, a drawn out howl sounded nearby, making him flinch slightly. He was so entranced in thought that he hadn't caught onto the recent smell of rogue that lingered nearby. His ears narrowed slightly, but he could assume that if another rogue were already here, they were likely looking to join a pack as well. Katsumi began jogging forward, his ears and nose tracing the rogue until he across a pretty reddish she-wolf, sitting gingerly along the river bank. The brute lowered his head suspiciously, but he offered a small tail wag as he approached to show that he was not a threat. As he came up to meet her, his heterochronic eyes traced her lovely figure and elegant coat. Should he greet this stranger, or just sit awkwardly with her until a pack wolf came to meet them? "Hello, my name is Katsumi.." he stated quietly, taking a seat a few quite a feet away from the rogue. He then tilted his head back and called out a shorter, low-pitched howl to state his presence as well. From there he would wait quietly, unless addressed by the she-wolf, until someone came to access them. Ebony, Cecilia

War torn ears flicked in the wind as the familiar scent washed over his senses as he walked. The older male had done nothing but walk. He’d stopped for meals here and there but it truly was only enough so that he could keep going. He was tired, tired of traveling alone. He wanted to settle down, find himself in a home where he could finally find peace instead of war. He knew that if he returned to Ferus lands, he would not be welcomed by any that had claimed the lands. He knew that his chances were slim of finding himself in any pack lands, but he knew that maybe given the fact that he had history here, he could wager a place for himself in the pack. It was an odd feat he was trying to pull off. The borders he now respected and stayed from straying across was one he had passed so many years ago to devastate the land with his sister by his side. He wondered what had truly happened to his sister. He knew that she had taken off from Ferus lands, in search of something better after Thatcher died. He didn’t realize how attached his sister had been to the previous Alpha, but she had left in search of someone just like him. He hoped that she had found what she wanted in the end, but that was not something he craved anymore. The war that he once would have loved to partake in seemed like nothing more than a headache. If he were being honest, retirement sounded better and better by the day. And so as he approached the borders, he caught the scent of others and the sound of their howls as he approached. He wondered if there were still wolves he recognized in these lands, or if all the elder wolves had died off during the floods and fires that had seemed to ravish most of the territory. If that were the case, Azazel would have a much easier time getting into the pack. If that were not the case, then he was sure he would probably be turned away. Either way he lifted his head, not bothering the two wolves that were already there as his own deep and rusty howl filled the air, letting the pack wolves know they were to expect more than just the other two at the borders. And if anyone was old enough, they would know the sound of his howl from the many times he called for them when Ferus controlled part of the land. Ebony Cecilia Katsumi Akari

Akari restin along the waterbed of the thick river. Having been joined by a male who seemed a bit younger in stature to herself, she tilted her head slightly in greeting and reassurance that she was no threat to him. Just in case for some odd reason he took laying down as some sort of power play or something. Heck, she didn’t even know. What was done, was done. That was that. As the lightly red-tan furred brute spoke softly, Akari perked her ears to listen. He had introduced himself as Katsumi. ‘Lovely name,’ she thought before then introducing herself. It was only polite to do so anyhow from the few encounters she had with passing wolves now and then. “Hello Katsumi, that’s a lovely name. I’m Akari.” The male looked from a distance to be just a slight bit taller than her, after all at the shoulder height she stood around 31 inches. His eyes were striking to look into with their different colors. She had yet to meet a wolf with heterochromia, and she had to admit, his eyes were quite pretty. Her chocolate brown colored eyes flecked with white couldn’t help but flick over to the bundle of something unknown to her, “By the way, if I could…What is it you have there with you?” She in no way wanted for the question to be one of rude or judging intent, she had merely talked on her curiosity. It didn’t take too long for another wolf to show up. Not introducing themselves but instead howling in response to what Akari could only have guessed to be the packwolves. That or just outright sending them a message that he was here much like Akari had done. This wolf seemed to be a bit older than her, though he didn’t seem in dire need of assistance from anyone, he would certainly be better off residing in a pack, which was probably why he was here regardless. Not moving from her laying position, Akari continued to wait for at least one of the packwolves to show up to get the show on the road. If either of the rogue males happened to converse further with her, she would give them her full attention. But until that happened she would rest her head on her paws watching the water. It flowed slowly, making the ever so calming sounds while smoothing over the pebbles that lay on the bottom of the river coating it in multi-colored rocks. Ebony Cecilia Azazel Katsumi

Lubrusca hadn't been home for so long that approaching its borders again almost felt like approaching a new pack. Its beauty still stood; winding rivers and flowing plains still called his name. With every pawstep, the drumbeat of his heart felt more and more in tune with the grass. The rush of the river hit his imperfect ears with a familiar energy that powered him forwards. Home. It was as if Elenor's spirit wrapped around his body. She had passed away so early in his young life. Lubrusca was the love she would have given. Each wolf there raised the pups alongside his father to make sure they never felt a gap in the love poured into them. She never truly left the siblings though. Now, as Milo returned to the lands of his birth, he could feel her reaching out once more, drawing her son back home. There were other wolves here on the border, three if he could count right (and he was sure he could). While they howled for whoever lied within, Milo searched past their scents to see who controlled these lands. He knew it was possible for someone else to have come back and claimed this land, but he still held onto the hope that a familiar face would be the one to come greet him. Familiarity smacked him so hard that his rump hit dirt. There was no way! He longed to see his siblings again but had figured it would be when he saw his mother again at this rate. But no! Right there! There was Cecilia plain as day! And Ebony, the grumpy old fart! Bolting past the other rogues, a few paces within the borders, Milo yelled out, "CECE!! EBONY!! LET ME IN I'M HOMEEEE!" His tail wagged a mile a minute behind him, caramel eyes scanning past the tall grasses for any sign of the wolves he so longed to see. Cecilia Ebony Katsumi Akari Azazel

Salem had been living life as a lone wolf for quite a few months, and now, she decided she would take it upon herself to join a pack. Having heard tales of pack life throughout her youth, she had gained an interest in packs, learning how they work and so forth. She had learned how to be respectful, and learned to be careful. Salem knew that one important thing to do when approaching pack territory was to howl to announce your presence. It was more respectful than wandering into pack territory without saying a word. It made you look more suspicious. Once Salem landed on the Lubrusca outskirts, she caught the whiff of numerous other wolves. Maybe they were also seeking a pack to join, and maybe this pack was the one. So, I’m not the only one here.Salem did not pay attention to them, though. She was only focused on herself in the current moment, and so she let out a howl, hoping to attract the attention of someone in this pack. Anybody. Ebony, Cecilia

"Mayerthu, You will be my informant. I want you to go with Cecilia and Maddox and report your findings to me." Her ear twitched in response to Ebony's words, and she nodded to him silently her paws and mind moving to do as he requested. She glanced at Cecilia and Maddox before making her way back to the border, leaving space enough for them to walk uninterrupted so they might catch up if so desired. The breeze moved through her pelt soothingly and she shook the remains of the hunt off of herself as she traveled. Her eyes met her surroundings differently than before, as this was now her home rather than a prospect. She carried herself confidently and took her time listening to the living world around her. A field mouse dashed into the cover of leaves nearby and she watched a few birds chirping loudly amongst themselves in the trees far above any obvious threats that could reach them below. The time it took her to traverse the territory was minimal but there was so much for her to observe that she rather liked to take her time. The pack would be well off in due time, more wolves meant more security in numbers, but also more mouths to feed. Luckily the number of females far outweighed the number of males, so surely an overabundance of pups wouldn't be an issue until further along the line, that is, unless Cecilia and Ebony got *VERY* busy she mused. "Pups from them would be very interesting to see indeed, they'd probably be spotted and adorable."She glanced back keeping Maddox and Cecilia within eyesight just in case she needed to access them quickly for any reason at all. The border was fast approaching and so was the awful ruckus coming from it, someone was yelling very loudly, and others were howling obnoxiously. She cringed internally at the commotion, they were certainly different than she when it came to noise level, she noted as she pawed through the landscape silently her tail held still behind her. She approached the scene downwind of the others so she could observe momentarily without disruptions. She sniffed out 5 distinct scents and one by one her eyes found them and started assessing their behavior. A pretty red she-wolf, older than herself by the looks of it sat near a younger coppery colored male. She noted the creation next to him right away wondering was inside of it and mildly suspicious of it as well. Her eyes moved to an older male not too far away, he smelled older than dirt but something about his scent seemed familiar to the scents of the forest. Mayerthu felt an urge to question the older wolf but not in an aggressive way, she had always been fascinated by the stories of others and he surely had plenty to tell, of course, she would get to that later if Cecilia deemed it appropriate to do so, Mayerthu had decided that she would defer to Cecilia's judgement in the end of course. Mayerthu only wished to gather information as Ebony instructed, it wasn't her place to interact with the wolves directly. Alas on that note her eyes wandered to yet another male slightly older than herself and she glanced at him assessing him, he seemed happier and surer of himself than the others, Mayerthu figured this must have been the wolf calling to Ebony and Cecilia from such a distance with familiarity, her eyes moved on but she couldn't help herself by glancing at him once more, his energy drew her for some reason but she shook it off as her eyes at last landed upon the tan coated she wolf who barely seemed older than a pup. None of the wolves seemed to represent a threat in any sense to her gut and she figured it would be appropriate to now step out of the wood line and present herself to the visible eye, that way introductions could be made once Cecilia and Maddox made their way forward as well. She waited for Cecilia's lead; looking back towards the rogue with the bundle, her curiosity burning as the scent of it hit her nose. Akari, Katsumi, Azazel, Milo, Salem, Cecilia, Maddox

There wasn't much more excitement at the border outslirts, until a wolf came bounding up yelling. At least no introduction would be necessary from him, he screamed his name loud enough for the jellyfish to hear all the way across the lands at the coast. By the way he held himself, and his confident tone of ungodly loud voiceage of his sudden appearence, Akari was sure that a pack wolf would definitely be paying them a visit much sooner than what sheay have thought. Slighty shaking her head to rid her ears of the annoying ringing, she waited for her hearing to return to its normal state. Once it did, her ears caught the sound of movement approaching towards them as the frame of a midnight furred she-wolf came into Akari's line of sight not too shortly afterwards. Behind her were two other wolves who were walking close enough to each other for her to assume they were chatting between themseves about something. It seemed by the way that the dark pelted female looked back towards the two other wolves that joined her, that she wasn't going to speak first. If that was the case, and something formal or whatever it was that pack wolves did would need to be done, Akari was going to stay silent for the time being. Not talking gave her time in place of that to greater access the three wooves that joined the rogues. Adjusting herself to a position that was more 'proper' though still comfortable, the dark red furred she-wolf flicked her only remaining ringing ear once more. At least if any of the packwolves spoke she would be able to hear them in one ear. As she sat waiting for the ever growing awkward silence to dissipate, Akari was able to spot that the wolf that lead the way to see what all the commotion was about a little more clearly now that there wasn't much moving being done anymore. The she-wolf had captivating crimson eyes. 'Like blood,' she thought, still intrigued for a few moments more. That was the first time she had met a wolf with red eyes. The other two were of lighter fur that greatly varied the colors in which Akari was taking in, though that was nothing bad, it was more of something that allowed her mind to focus on something different than her selfdoubt of whether she should have spoke by now. Mayerthu, Salem, Azazel,It seemed that someone else had sauntered up to his childhood home after his outburst, but that didn't deter Milo at all! The more the merrier with Lubrusca, especially with so few scents marking the borders. His tail wasn't obnoxiously high in the air, but it was clear that he possessed confidence beyond those of the rogues who had never been to these lands before. His one floppy ear swung merrily as his eyes peered over the tall grasses. Surely there had to be someone coming soon! So many howls and his booming barks, surely there was someone out there who could hear him! The dark, unfamiliar form of a she-wolf was the first to emerge. Milo's heart sank seeing her. She wasn't Cecilia, or Ebony. Well... he supposed she was ebony just not Ebony ebony. His tail dropped slightly as he swallowed heavily, his gaze getting a bit more frantic as it searched past the still-silent stranger. He knew Cecilia was here recently! He could smell her! At least... he thought so. It was so familiar, but maybe the time had washed away his memories. The sight and scent of his paler older brother washed those worries away in an instant. It had to be Maddox! Before the goofball could even think, his paws were pushing in a sprint toward his family. He was so sure that he would never see them again, and he wasn't about to waste a single second in making sure he wasn't seeing ghosts. The hefty impact of his body into his brother's, the feeling of damp grass pressing into his fur as the pair tumbled and squeals of joy left Milo, it was all worth it. He pressed his face into his brother's thick fur, the scent so almost bringing tears to his eyes. When he finally needed air, Milo's head rose and his eyes fell onto his sister. "I knew it! I knew you were here Cece! Thank the stars, I'm so glad you're both okay. Are Basil and Nascha here too?" His excited yapping bounced between the brother still trapped beneath his large paws, and the sister he had yet to properly greet in the same way. Adrenaline pounded through his veins while he waited to see what they would say. It had been so long, surely they'd be happy to see him! Akari, Katsumi, Azazel, Salem, Mayerthu, Cecilia, Maddox

The trip to the borders was a familiar one and he hoped after this, he would not have to make the journey for a little while. He wanted to see their home in all its glory, something that he had not seen before he had left. When he had left, a fire had ravaged most of the land, bringing them to devastation that was unprecedented. He knew that there would still be a couple charred areas from the fire, but enough time had passed that mostly everything would be newly grown. Sprouting from the ashes of what had burned would be new life, just like from within the ashes of Lubrusca, new blood would come and rejuvenate the pack to what it once was. While Maddox missed many of the wolves he used to call friends, he knew that in the end, there was nothing he could do but hope they found their way back to the pack, or found their peace somewhere else. He knew that Lubrusca was not for everyone. The horrific scenes they’d been put through had been enough to affect Cecilia’s mind, and even cause Ebony to crack, even if it were just ever so slightly. Trotting with Mayerthu and Cecilia, he had kept a bit quiet the entire journey. He wanted to give Cecilia space to think about what had happened, to know that she was safe there with him. And if anything were to happen at the borders, she would be his first priority. However, as they neared, the familiar scent that came rushing and literally knocking him over would be one that had his tail thumping against the ground as he stared upward towards Milo. He had always been the most excitable - even compared to Maddox - and had grown up to look rather goofy, his permanently floppy ear endearing all of its own with Milo’s signature sweet smile peeled at the young male’s lips. “Milo!” He exclaimed as he pushed his brother off of him playfully before quickly looking at Cecilia. He hoped that she wouldn’t have the same reaction to Milo as she did him. He knew that if she did, he would catch her this time, make sure she didn’t hit her head on any rocks that were laying about. There were others here as well, ones that they needed to greet. “Basil and Nascha aren’t here from what I can tell…” He said to Milo as his attention caught on the other wolves, not truly wanting to discuss familial matters in front of them. “Hello everyone,” He said, with a smile. “You’ve made your way to the Lubrusca borders, how can we help ya?” He asked them generously as he stepped forward, putting himself instinctively between his siblings and the outsiders. He’d always been the protector of the litter, emotionally, mentally and now he would do so physically if he had to. No one would hurt his family, not when he had just made it back. "Hello Katsumi, that's a lovely name. I'm Akari." the she-wolf before him chimed, her eyes sweeping over him in inspection. The male kept his head low and non-threatening, only offering a tiny shy smile in return. He wasn't great at compliments, much less did he often receive them from full-blooded wolves, so he could only hope a gentle smile was enough. Katsumi watched as Akari's orbs finally settled on his tiny bundle of webs, curiosity obviously striking her. "By the way, if I could..." she began, her intrigued expression giving away her following question well before she even spoke. "Ah, yes, this is uh.." the brute toyed with his bundle for a moment as he fought for the words. Surely another rogue would have no need to steal his offering? "Just some herbs i've collected on my way here. I figured maybe the pack could make good use out of them," he trailed contently, his tail thumping quietly on the ground for a moment as he gazed down at his treasure. To a pretty she-wolf such as Akari, she likely thought that he was lame as hell, and dorky at that for showing pride in his work; plants. Just then, his attention was jerked toward a new male joined their party, quite a bit larger than himself and damn, was he chunky. His dark coat was riddled with countless scars, which really seemed to show his age compared to the rest of them. His presence alone made the air tense, an obvious sort of elderly dominance to the brute. Wow, Katsu, you're so fucking impressive compared to a hunk like that guy. The male stifled a snort at his sarcastic thoughts, not wanting to seem rude and catch that brutes icy glare. Only moments later, another male around his size came barreling in, sizzling the previous tension with his overwhelming enthusiasm as he shouted. "CECE!! EBONY!! LET ME IN I'M HOMEEEE!" Katsumi's ears narrowed back briefly at the booming voice, a single cock of his brow showing his confusion. This wolf appeared all too comfortable approaching the borders like a hooligan, so he could only assume he had some sort of past relations with this pack. He also made a mental note that, potentially, there were two pack wolves by the names of 'Cece' or something like that, and 'Ebony'. Just as one more female wolf joined them, the smell of approaching pack wolves swarmed his nostrils. Katsumi immediately sat up a little straighter, keeping his head level around his shoulders to show his submission to the oncoming group. He nudged his bundle of herbs a little closer as they all broke through the trees. The rogues were greeted by three wolves, two she-wolves and a male that looked suspiciously similar to one of the females, as well as the excited male rogue that was almost immediately barreling into him. Was this Ebony? Maybe the lighter she-wolf was Cece? All at once, it finally clicked that perhaps these wolves were related, which would explain the males behavior at the borders. As words spilled from the brutes mouth, it only confirmed that the female, at least, was 'Cece', and he seemed to be asking about more relatives or friends from a past life he would not understand. Finally, the male of the pack wolves came to address them all, in a rather cool manner instead of what Katsu would've expected - dominance and authority. "Hello everyone, you've made your way to the Lubrusca borders, how can we help ya?" he spoke, positioning himself between the rogues and the other pack members. His demeanor was confusing to Katsu. Was he someone of high ranking here, or was he just like a sort of lead warrior that was going to protect his family? But then, how could he speak so nonchalantly to them, as if they were all friends? The silence that hung in the air after his question was deafening, and Katsumi looked towards the others almost pleading he wouldn't have to be the first to speak, as the only wolfdog. The weirdo of the bunch. With a muffled sigh, the male finally decided he had no choice. "Greetings, my name is Katsumi. I know little about your pack or its history," his eyes flickered briefly between the siblings. "But I am here to offer my services to you, and to find a permanent home for myself where I am valued." Katsu chose his words carefully, not wanting to seem too forward, but also not wanting to basically beg for approval. He then got up slowly, lowering his maw to the ground as he gently grasped his silky sack of goodies. He proceeded towards the male, his head and tail remaining low as he approached. If the male was to jerk or show any signs of uncertaintly, he would stop and plot his rump back down. Katsumi lowered his eyes willingly, submitting to the male before him as he finally dropped his bundle a few feet away from his paws. He then took a few steps back and sat once more. " I offer you my herbal knowledge, and with that also a gift of a few useful things I've found through these winter months," he gestured his nose towards the bundle, stealing a glance at the male before continuing. He wasn't sure if any of these wolves knew much about herbs, but surely they would be suspicious of that they could not see concealed by cobwebs. "Just some leftover poppy seeds, mint, horsetail... all non-toxic" he finished in a quiet tone, making sure to especially note that these were non-toxic in case anyone thought he was trying to somehow foolishly sabotage the Lubruscan wolves. With that, he fell to silence, his heterochrome eyes focused on a frosty blade of grass nearby until someone else spoke up. Maddox, Cecilia, Mayerthu, Milo, Akari, Azazel, Salem

Katsumi had indeed answered her question. What he had with him was a bundle of herbs, some of which she recognized. With that, she was left wondering if he was some sort of healer. She had always been close with the healers, they were wise for the most part, and she always learned something new with them. Her birth pack had quite a few of those, and they always seemed to be some of the nicest wolves in a pack, between them and the pup sitters it was a close one.
It didn't take too long for that very noticeable loud wolf, Milo, to barrel into his brother. At that, Akari chuckled slightly. It reminded her more of her birth pack and a little game they called Rock Tackle.
Rock Tackle -
As the game was, there were only two rules.
Don't let the any opposing team get the rock past your boundary No tackle is to be aimed above the chest.
Once those simple rules were told over to remind everyone of the two things they weren't allowed to do, teams were split up. The way that the game worked was quite easy for even the pups to understand, and there could even be more than two teams at once. The ways of Rock Tackle was a game of both defense and offense. It was a game that trained the wolves to think with both instincts to guard and fight. Therefore naturally it was the warriors' favorite game to play. Akari even had her try at it a couple of times.
Each team had a rock. One's goal with that rock was to get through another team's boundary. If one was on guard of their teams boundary, they could tackle wolves by choice, or steal an opposing team's rock which would end the round.
Rounds would end when either a rock was stolen or a rock passed another teams boundary, both of which give a point to the team that completed the action. After 10 rounds of the game, whichever team had the most points via steals or boundary passing. If teams were to tie, another round would be in place and the team that got the next point would win.
It truly was a fun game to play, it sharpened their minds and helped develop teamwork. If it wasn't for the incident of a wolf choking to death on a rock after being tackled, Akari would most certainly recommend it.
—
Teams had been divided, there were three teams, 6 wolves per team. It was now round 8, Akari's team was in second by one point. If they managed to win this round and the next, they would be in first.
As the round began, the keeper of the rocks took off, as did some of their teammates, protecting them. Akari dashed forward slightly ahead of her team's rock keeper. A rival wolf decided to run head on with the red furred she-wolf, most definitely a mistake. Lunging towards the male in front of her she put all her weight into the goal of knocking the wolf off. She succeeded. Rolling with the brute as they collided, she let out a cheer as the rock keeper she was defending made it past a boundary.
The next round went similarly, except Akari was now the keeper of the rock. She was fast, and able to dodge most of the bodies that hurled themselves her way, only one was caught off guard by. She kept the rock secured in her mouth, rolling with her shoulder and standing for a moment before taking off again. And then she passed a boundary, of the team that was now second. She scored the winning point and boy, was that nice.
End of Rock Tackle -
As it turned out, she didn't have to wait long before things started going at a steady pace. One of the pack wolves spoke, and Katsumi answered. Her second question was already disappearing as an answer was provided without a need to ask.
With an answer of her own finally ready, she spoke her words in a light tone, though it was plenty loud for the pack wolf to hear.
With a nod of her head in respect, she introduced herself and spoke her part, "Akari, I am here in hopes that I could share with the pack the skills I possess while having a place to call home."
And now that she thought about it, her reply was somewhat close to what the herb bringing male's was. After all, she too was here to find a permanent place to live, as well as share with the pack her skills, possibly teach the young what she knew.

Salem observed the wolves in the distance (who she assumed were part of this pack), and she slightly envied them. It must’ve been nice to be part of a large family. The young she-wolf was also relieved about how it appeared as though she wasn’t the only rogue wolf searching for a pack. Besides her, there were other packless strangers, but not a lot. It also seemed as though some of the pack wolves had noticed the rogues, as they were beginning to get close to them. Salem was admittedly a bit nervous, but slightly excited and hopeful. Maybe today was her lucky day? Eventually, a male had approached the rogues, saying that they had made it to the “Lubrusca borders”. Salem assumed that Lubrusca was the name of this pack. She was surprised that this wolf seemed relatively friendly and willing to help out. Wouldn’t most pack wolves chase away rogues if given the opportunity? At the same time though, she wasn’t used to friendliness like this. Being a wolf that had learned the importance of respect, Salem politely bowed her head. “ It’s nice to meet you. I was hoping that I could perhaps join this pack. I’ve been in search of a family considering my biological one is gone.” Akari , Katsumi , Azazel , Milo , Mayerthu , Maddox , Cecilia , Ebony

It seemed that it would be a reunion, as one of the younger wolves came running up to the borders, screaming for their siblings and pack member. Azazel couldn't remember that one's name but he knew that he was a Lubruscan. As a male and two females appeared, Azazel kept himself away from the others, not wanting to really be caught up in the excitement as the sibling reunion was something to smile at. Not that Azazel ever smiled. The brute gave a small cough before standing, the weight of his body on his aching limbs was enough to make him want to lay down. As the others all brought themselves forward and spoke, Azazel eyed each of them. Some of these wolves would have been accepted into Ferus ranks, but that was before the pack had been disbanded. Now, they were searching for refuge with Lubrusca, just as he was. He wondered who was in charge of the pack now, giving a small shake of his pelt before looking towards the young wolves that had come to greet them. "Just as the others have. I've come looking for a pack to settle down in. Getting old is dangerous alone," His gravelly voice was raspy and hadn't been used in quite some time it seemed. "My name is Azazel," He told them, yellow eyes watching their reactions as he spoke their names. They would have only been pups when Ferus had taken over, but he remembered their father. He was a warrior, one that Azazel was sure knew that it was best not to fight a war he couldn't win. Azazel had the displeasure of fighting the pregnant Alphess during the war that'd been struck by Thatcher, and so he hardly had the ability to show his true might until after the fact. But, maybe it was good these younger wolves wouldn't remember him. It would be easier. Maddox Cecilia Mayerthu Akari Katsumi Salem

"Milo!" His name was music to his own floppy ears. He let himself get shoved off by Maddox, eyes looking intently towards his siblings, eagerly awaiting whether the rest of the litter was hiding somewhere as well. “Basil and Nascha aren’t here from what I can tell…” Maddox's trailing voice didn't wipe the smile from the goofball's face. If the three of them had made it back to one other, surely Basil and Nascha would still be out there too! “Hello everyone,” He said, with a smile. “You’ve made your way to the Lubrusca borders, how can we help ya?” Maddox turned to address the rest of the rogues while Maddox scrambled back to his paws. While the assorted wolves answered his brother - and he assumed the other she-wolf that had accompanied them to the borders - he moved to press his fur into his sister's. Cecilia had always been the quiet one, so it would be interesting to see how she had grown while he was away. After everyone had introduced themselves to Maddox, Milo piped up from his sister's side, facing the rogues, "And I'm Milo! I grew up here as a pup with my siblings and I can vouch that Lubrusca is the best place to be!" He turned to the dark she-wolf that had accompanied Cece and Maddox, whose name he still didn't know, and spoke quietly, "Can we head back to the commons now? I can wait to pester Ebony again!" Mayerthu looked at Milo a moment processing the request made of her. Realizing that she was now expected to take charge of the situation, she decided to go ahead and introduce herself. "Hello" she said, her voice authorative but not aggressive. "My name is Mayerthu, I have been paying close attention to what you've told us." Her eyes glimmered a little as she thought carefully about the wolves before her. Turning her crimson gaze to Katsumi she said "Your knowledge could be a useful resource in the coming months, a medicinal wolf garners a lot of intrigue and respect so I do hope you continue to improve on yourself while being here with us." Mayerthu then turned to Akari. "You're a bit older than I am but you seem spry enough to hold your own, and your countenance expresses a willful and gentle soul, I'd like to spar with you sometime."Mayerthu knew Milo was coming with them, that much was obvious as the siblings were close and held love for each other, a love that, admittedly she did not yet understand but hoped that she someday would as her bonds grew stronger with the wolves in the pack. Her dark coat caught the heat of the day in its layers, and she shook her head a little as she looked at the young Salem wolf. "You're young, impressionable, but also trainable, I look forward to helping you reach your full potential in our ranks." Lastly came the older brute before her. The pack was young and he was not, as much as he intrigued her she did not know him or owe him anything. Logic told her that he would be an asset intellectually if he weren't so... war torn. Something inside her told her that her decisions had to be precise. "Azazel, growing old alone is indeed dangerous, but unfortunately I don't believe this pack is what you are searching for, I've heard of other packs nearby that may be more accommodating to your needs. If you've tried all the others and still cannot find acceptance, return here and seek me out and I will do what I can to assist you as long as it is in the best interest of the pack." With those words she turned and started the trip to the commons to report to Ebony "Everyone else, keep up, I'd like to get settled in quickly before this storm washes us away" and then she bounded off her legs stretching gleefully carrying her home as clouds loomed over their heads menacingly. -Exit to Lubrusca Common Grounds Maddox Azazel Katsumi Akari Cecilia Salem Milo
